Referenced Mode Testing vs. Non-Referenced Mode Testing
The Audio Expert System enhances the ability of a Bluetooth audio engineer to test audio quality. Without Audio Expert System engineers were forced to rely on "non-referenced" mode testing - meaning
an audio signal is sent through the device under test (DUT) without the ability to compare the outcome to a known audio reference to verify audio quality. Although there is benefit to testing in non-referenced
mode, more value is added when the engineer can compare the audio output from the DUT with a reference file to confirm audio quality.
