Searching with Absolute Timestamp
To access the search by time function:
- Select Find from the Edit
menu on the Frame Display or Event Display. You may also select the Find
icon
from one of the toolbars - Click on the Time tab of the Find dialog.
Note: The tabs
displayed on the Find dialog depend on the product you are running and
the content of the capture file you are viewing.
- Specify the time
to search for by using the counters in the middle of the window.
- Click on the arrows next to each item to increase or decrease the value of each counter.
- By default, the counters display the timestamp of the first event in the file
- After selecting the time, click on the Go To button to start the search.
Sometimes there can be more than one event with the same timestamp. The system highlights all events with the specified timestamp.
