This guide describes a protocol that provides remote control of Frontline's Protocol Analysis System (Frontline software). Utilizing the protocol, a remote client can bypass the Microsoft Windows user interface and interact directly with the Frontline software. The test process automation is achieved by writing a client application which talks over a TCP network socket connection with the Frontline Automation Server component.

This guide is intended for technical people with knowledge of TCP socket communications who want to automate the process of testing Classic Bluetooth devices, Bluetooth low energy devices, 802.11 and SD/SDIO devices using the Frontline software.
